1. Please connect the wireless CarPlay adapter to a USB charger instead of your USB port in your car.
2.Turn on your iPhone’s WiFi and join the WiFi devices named “smartBox_xxxx”. The wifi password is ‘88888888’.
3. Please find the IP address 192.168.1.101 in your Safari.
4. After accessing the IP page, you can download the firmware online from your iPhone, which needs to connect to the “smartBox-xxxxx” wifi network until the upgrade is completed.
Tips: It takes 3-4mins to upgrade the firmware. Do not power off the carPlay wireless adapter during the upgrade.

1.Why does my unit kept disconnecting and reconnecting as I was driving?
A:Trying to “rename” your iPhone to something other than “jane’s iPhone” such as “Janie0101”…really anything that doesn’t have the word “iphone” in it. Supposedly when your phone is named with the word “iphone” in it the device then tries to connect to all devices around it with the similar name. Once I changed it to something else it immediately resolved my disconnection problem and has worked well going forward.
2.Why is the audio delayed?
A:The adaptation of each car is different. Only about 1% of the car models will have audio delay problems, but this is a normal phenomenon within the range, because the wireless box needs to do music caching, and the cache delay is the main solution. Instant connection stutter proble.
3.Sounds like there is a fee for online upgrades?
The upgrade is completely free, try to send the screenshot of the problem interface filled in before the upgrade to us, which will help us to help you solve the problem more accurately
4.What if my machine doesn’t work or suddenly stops working 1/2/3 month(s) later? (all other questions and so on)
